Janet began her nursing career in 1985 and has been caring for patients for 32 years. She graduated with her Master’s in Nursing in 2002 from West Texas A&M University. Nursing is more than a career for Janet, it is her passion. She loves the idea of being able to help people, sometimes in their toughest times. Janet has been a provider at the clinic in Claude since 2003. In January 2009, her and her husband John made the long-term commitment of purchasing the clinic, and other than changing the name to Claude Family Medical Clinic, there hasn’t been any changes. It is their belief that all people have the right to have quality and cost effective health care. The Bilyeu’s feel very blessed to be able to serve the people of Claude and the surrounding communities. They want their patients to feel secure in the knowledge that the clinic will remain open and available to all who need it for many, many years to come.
John and Janet have been married for 42 years and have lived in Pampa for 37 years. They have two children, and four precious grandchildren. They are very blessed to have all their children and grandchildren living in Pampa.
Janet’s hobbies, besides nursing, include being very active in her church, working in the garden, traveling, reading, and playing with her grandchildren.
